The presentation of NMM at CeBIT 2007 was featured by golem.de, linuxmagazin, the german newspaper Handelsblatt, Saarbruecker Zeitung and many others.
Some photos of our booth and a video wall consisting of five systems (NMM Multimedia-Box running on Linux, and video wall: Linux, Windows VISTA, MacOS X, Windows XP) are now available. A video (avi, 68MB) from CeBIT 2007 shows our latest results in the area of adaptation-based optimal audio and video streaming. Compare the image quality of the received video stream without adaptation (left side) and with adaptation (right side).

Together with other Open Source home-entertainment solutions, the Network-Integrated Multimedia Middleware (NMM) and the Multimedia-Box were featured in the german journal c't,
issue 8, on pages 106-110. Furthermore, this c't issue comes with a bootable CD-ROM that provides a small Linux distribution and that
allows to install NMM and the Multimedia-Box easily.
In case you want to try out our software without installing a new Linux system, simply download our
precompiled binary packages or source code.
We will also provide updated packages for the c't distribution soon, so stay tuned, e.g. by subscribing to our mailing-lists.

Thanks to the people from the c't journal, there are also two new skins for the Multimedia-Box available.

Some photos and a video (avi with divx/mp3, 20 MB) from CeBIT 2004 are now available.
The video shows a live demo of NMM and the Multimedia-Box as presented at CeBIT 2004:
- 'Live TV' is started on a laptop computer; as this host does not include a TV board, a remote TV source is accessed transparently.
- A PDA is connected to this TV application. Audio/video are transcoded for the PDA; the applications running on the laptop and PDA are automatically shared and run synchronized.
- Then, the Multimedia-Box set-top PC also is connected to 'Live TV' by selecting the task running on the laptop computer. All three applications are then shared and run synchronized.

The WDR made an interview for the radio show "Leonardo" broadcasted on Friday, March 19th, the CeBIT radio also made an interview.
The SR showed some footage on the NMM project within their report about CeBIT at the Aktueller Bericht on March 19th
(low-bandwidth or high-bandwidth real-media (external)).
